Oh Hi

I’m Yang Yiliu (Oliver), a graduate from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, majored in Artificial Intelligence. Please see my CV here.

I’m a Research Assistant at CUHK MMLab, focusing on reasoning in multimodal large language models (MLLMs) and safety in multi-agent LLM systems (MASs).

Prior to the current position, my research experiences were mainly on the theory of AI, including GANs and RL. I awarded the Best Project Award for my 2022 project, ‘Continual Learning Knowledge Graph Embeddings’.

I was a member of CUHK ICPC team in 2020-2023 and got 4 bronze medals in multiple regionals.

Sep, 2025 A new paper titled ‘QuadSentinel: Sequent Safety for Machine-Checkable Control in Multi-agent Systems’ has been submitted to ICLR 2026.
Feb, 2025 I joined CUHK MMLab as a research assistant.
Nov, 2024 LogicAsker was presented at EMNLP 2024.
Jul, 2024 I have graduated from CUHK with first honor.
Nov, 2023 I received HKSAR Government Scholarship (HK$80,000).
